The university seeks a dynamic Medical/Surgical Nurse Educator within the School of Nursing and Health Professions. This 12-month, Full-Time Nursing Program faculty position (Clinical Assistant Professor – non-tenure-track) involves teaching both didactic and clinical courses in the Baccalaureate Nursing Degree (BSN) Program. Responsibilities include face-to-face teaching with online supplements and simulation experiences. This position focuses on medical-surgical nursing. Pediatric experience is preferred. Faculty participate in committees, student advising, program initiatives, and university activities. Faculty are expected to: prepare, teach, and assess student progress; seek continuous improvement in teaching methods; stay current in the discipline; maintain office hours; develop a professional development plan; and collaborate on course and curriculum development.
