Are you a seasoned Boiler Operator with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? If so, you could be the perfect fit for our team. We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of our plant's boiler system. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our boilers, contributing significantly to our manufacturing productivity.

Responsibilities:

As a Boiler Operator, you will be tasked with a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

1. Operating and maintaining boiler systems, ensuring their optimum performance, safety, and efficiency.
2. Conducting regular inspections of boilers and associated equipment to identify and resolve any issues.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing faults with boilers, pumps, conveyors, and other equipment.
4. Utilizing knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics to optimize boiler operation.
5. Performing preventive maintenance on boiler systems and associated equipment to minimize downtime and prolong their lifespan.
6. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Documenting and reporting on boiler operation and maintenance activities.
8. Training other team members on boiler operation and safety procedures as necessary.
9. Staying updated on industry developments and advancements in boiler technology.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Boiler Operator position will possess the following qualifications:

1. At least 5 years of experience as a Boiler Operator in a manufacturing or similar industrial setting.
2. A valid Class 1 or Class 2 Boiler License.
3. Extensive knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, equipment maintenance, pumps, and conveyors.
4. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair boiler systems and associated equipment.
5. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to boiler operation.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Good communication and training skills.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.
