We're seeking an accomplished product leader with deep financial news expertise to help drive innovation in a fast-growing, dynamic organization. Working with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer, you will collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and sales teams to craft exceptional user experiences. Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling our platform, personalizing content, and advancing our news delivery.

The Head of Sales plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our complex products by balancing customer needs with business objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, analytical skills, and collaborative teamwork to deliver valuable, viable, usable, and feasible solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, market, and technology trends to craft a compelling vision and strategy for our product line
• Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps to deliver on the strategic vision and goals
• Communicate project progress and updates effectively to stakeholders through well-crafted presentations and reports
• Act as the connective tissue across product, editorial, sales, and marketing to align shared priorities and outcomes
• Utilize agile methodologies to drive product development and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Subject matter expert for sales team, internal and external calls and possible conferences

Technical Knowledge

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Office Products for data analysis and visualization
• Ability to make, and understand GNATT charts and other project management practices
• General knowledge of web technologies

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Sales or related field, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• At least 5 years of product management experience in a related field
• Experience with financial news or information products is necessary
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, unify fragmented workstreams, and deliver clarity amidst ambiguity
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into product decisions
• Outstanding communication and cross-functional leadership abilities
• Technical literacy is required to effectively collaborate with engineering teams
• Must be able to travel based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
