We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans.

Job Description

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured for transport.
• Perform moving tasks that may involve heavy lifting and manual handling of packages.
• Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning before each delivery route.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or vans preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Experience in delivery driving, courier services, or related fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
