Job Title: Manufacturing Lab Support Technician

Shift: Monday to Friday – Day Shift

Position Summary:

Danaher Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Lab Support Technician to join our Kits Manufacturing team. This hands-on role plays a vital part in supporting the production of critical laboratory products used by scientists worldwide. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual looking to grow their career in a lab-based manufacturing environment.

This role is performed in a BSL2 laboratory setting and requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including lab coats, gloves, and eye protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with QC kit closing procedures
• Cap and torque finished goods containers
• Aliquot bulk reagents and label vials accurately
• Assemble products and prepare for final packaging
• Receive and store raw materials ; label for long-term storage
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and control samples
• Support 5S organization and cleanliness standards in the lab
• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Clean and distribute laboratory glassware
• Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable with prolonged standing and/or sitting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a scientific or technical field
• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Prior handling of chemicals or biological materials
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Positive attitude and ability to adapt to change
• Commitment to Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards
• Experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word)

Work Environment:

• Lab Setting: 95%
• Office Setting: 5%
