Valkyrie Enterprises Manpower/Manning Analyst Job Description

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Manpower/Manning Analyst who will be a key support to the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, VA .

Responsibilities:

1. Review, update, and evaluate Navy Training Management and Manpower databases such as TFMMS, CeTARS, and FLTMPS to determine manpower requirements.
2. Analyze activity manpower documents such as Activity Manning Documents (AMD).
3. Analyze data, detect trends, summarize findings, draw conclusions, and develop presentations.
4. Assist in the annual review of training and manpower requirements in support of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma with at least 5 years of experience and detailed knowledge of U.S. Navy Manpower and Manning programs and regulations.
2. In-depth working knowledge of TFMMS, FLTMPS, MNA, and other manpower and manning programs.
3. Knowledge of the POM process.
4. Understanding of the Navy requisition system, Priority Manning, and related processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office applications; expertise in MS Excel is preferred.

Security Requirements:

• Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to maintain it.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel (<10%).
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary identification credentials such as REAL ID for travel and access to secure facilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing or sitting, moving to accomplish tasks, and communicating with others.
• Exposure to environmental conditions, noise, vibration, and confined spaces.
