Position Summary :

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the XRAY TECH is responsible for preforming radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Documentation recorded in Electronic Medical Record I accordance with MPA guideline. Performs technical procedures that requires independant judgement and ingenuity to appl prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.  Assists in other duties asd required Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. Education:

• Graduate from an accredited formal radiological AMA approved school
• Current Florida Radiology license
• Current BLS

Knowledge:

• Minimum of 1 year of medical experience preferred
• Job required being reliable, responsible, dependable
• Detailed oriented and thorough in completing work tasks
